Memiliki ukuran tubuh 2 m \u2013 3,5 m. Umumnya berwarna coklat keabu-abuan dengan bercak-bercak gelap di tubuhnya. Pada bagian belakang mata terdapat sisik yang mengeras dan lebar menutupi sebagian besar permukaan kepalanya<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Habitat <\/strong>: Umumnya ditemukan di habitat sungai yang tenang dengan pasir dan kerikil di dasarnya. Spesies ini dapat dijumpai hampir di seluruh rawa gambut, di bawah pohon perupuk hingga di tepi sungai besar.
