Ental majemuk menyirip berupa rakis dengan banyak anak daun meyirip; tersusun berdapan; anak daun berbentuk melanset-memanjat, memita-menyempit di ujungnya, ca. 10\u221215 cm, atau bercuping sangat dalam, ujung anak daun meruncing; anak daun tersusun berseling. Helaian daun steril hijau hijau gelap, sub-menjangat, pangkalnya menjatung. Helaian anak daun fertil memiliki bentuk yang sama dengan daun steril, terdapat sori yang melekat pada tepi helaian daunnya, seluruhnya atau \u00bd bagian daunya saja. <strong>Sorus<\/strong> menggada atau kerucut, panjangnya ca. 2\u22123 mm, melekat pada tepi lateral anak daun fertil, hijau sampai coklat-kekuningan, tersusun sejajar, di sepanjang tepi helaian daun atau 2\/3 bagian daun, sedikit renggang.<br \/>\n<\/span><b>Ekologi <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Persebaran alami dari wilayah Cina (Yunan) ke Asia Tropis sampai wilayah Pasifik bagian Barat Daya, termasuk kawasan Malesia. Pada umumnya tumbuh pada ekosistem dataran rendah kering sampai lahan basah, memanjat pada pohon terdekat hingga ke atas kanopi, lebat. Jenis ini juga banyak dijumpai pada perkebunan karet campuran, tepi jalan yang terbuka, dan tutupan hutan regenerasi muda.
