Badan berwarna coklat kemerahan, pipih tegak dan lebar. Mulut agak kecil dan bisa sedikit ditarik ke depan. Antara gurat sisi dan pertengahan sirip punggung terdapat 4-5 deret sisik. Sirip perut mencapai lubang dubur. Profil punggung bagian depan lurus dengan sedikit cekungan di atas mata. Terdapat kira-kira 6-8 garis vertikal dengan warna lebih gelap<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Habitat <\/strong>: Biasanya dijumpai di sungai dataran banjir yang luas hingga muara, termasuk danau, kolam dan rawa.
