\n<\/span>Deskripsi <\/b>: Epifit<\/strong>, kadang litofit. <\/strong>Rimpang bercabang-cabang, ramping, melekat pada kulit batang pohon inang, rimpang memiliki akar perekat, kecoklatan sampai hitam gelap, rimpang paling ujung terlihat menyisik. Ental <\/strong>tunggal, dimorfik. Ental steril melanset sampai lonjong, menjangat, bertangkai ca. 5 cm, tegak atau menjuntai; hijau gelap di permukaan atas; hijau muda di bagian bawah, panjangnya 15\u221225 \u00d7 3 cm, tepi mengutuh, ujung meruncing. Helaian ental fertil tunggal, memita, menjangat, ujung lancip; permukaan atas kehijauan, permukaan bawah hijau keabu-abuan dan memiliki sori pada bagian bawah daun. Sorus <\/strong>bulat, sori tersusun mengelompok pada bagian bawah daun fertil, membentuk alur yang khas memanjang antara pertulangan utama dan tepi daun, hijau sampai kecoklatan.
\n<\/span>Ekologi <\/b>: Persebaran alami dari wilayah Asia Tropis dan Subtropis sampai Pasifik bagian Barat, termasuk wilayah Malesia. Pada umumnya tumbuh epifit pada batang, cabang, dan ranting pohon inang. Referensi: Piggott, 1996.<\/span>
