Euphorbiaceae
\nNama <\/strong>: Perupuk.
\n<\/span>Deskripsi <\/b>: Pohon<\/strong>, berukuran sedang, perdu, tinggi mencapai 12 m, diameter 20 cm. Daun <\/strong>tersusun berhadapan; tangkai daun kebanyakan gundul atau sedikit gundul sampai berambut bentuk bintang; ukuran daunnya tidak beraturan, pertulangan rangkap-3; permukaan atas biasanya dengan beberapa totol-totol kelanjar di bagian basal, biasanya dengan kelenjar berupa bintik-bintik; permukaan bawah biasanya dengan domatia berambut. Perbungaan<\/strong> jantan tidak bercabang dengan beberapa kuntum bunga per buku. Perbungaan betina dengan beberapa buah yang berkembang, tangkai bunga pendek, buah halus, tidak berpendar. Buah<\/strong> dengan sayap runcing yang panjang, panjangnya 3 cm.
\n<\/span>Ekologi <\/b>: Persebaran alami di Sumatra dan Kalimantan. Pada umumnya tumbuh pada hutan primer termasuk hutan dataran rendah seperti hutan rawa basah dan hutan riparian. Di Kalimantan Timur banyak dijumpai disepanjang sungai mahakam yang memiliki tutupan vegetasi alami. Hutan lahan basah Mesangat dan Suwi. Referensi: Silk et al<\/em>., 2000<\/span>.
