Laki-laki dewasa cenderung lebih kecil, lebih ramping, dan memiliki pola warna yang lebih pekat dibandingkan perempuan<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Habitat <\/strong>: Satwa ini lebih menyukai sungai dan anak sungai di hutan yang memiliki air yang relatif jernih dan substrat pasir dan batu\/kerikil dengan berbagai ukuran (M. Lo, pers. comm; M. Ford pers. obv.)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<br \/>\n<strong>Sebaran <\/strong>: Mungkin endemik di Sumatra bagian tengah dan selatan, dengan catatan dari Kalimantan terdapat kerabatnya.
