Permukaan punggung dan sisinya berwarna gelap dan berbintik-bintik dengan kombinasi warna hitam dan oker (variasi dari kuning keemasan sampai warna cokelat kuning muda), dan putih di bagian perut. Kepala besar menyerupai kepala ular, mulut bergerigi, sisik sangat besar<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Habitat <\/strong>: Channa striata berhabitat dirawa, kolam air tawar, sungai dan lebih menyukai perairan berlumpur yang tergenang dan kali berumput. Ia berkembang biak di musim hujan.
