Nama : Tupai Ramping/Slender Treeshrew
Deskripsi : Jenis ini hampir tidak bisa dibedakan dari Tupaia minor, kecuali oleh ukurannya yang agak lebih besar. Spesimen ini hanya bisa dibedakan oleh ukuran telapak kaki belakangnya (lebih dari 35 mm) dan pengukuran tengkorak kepala. Warna umum adalah zaitun yang sedikit seperti beruban, tanpa berbaur warna karat seperti pada Tupaia minor. Tubuh bagian atas berbintik hijau khaki. Garis pada puncak sempit dan tidak jelas, berwarna kuning kecokelatan yang pucat.
Habitat : Makanan meliputi serangga dan buah-buahan. Bersifat arboreal, terestrial dan diurnal yang menyendiri. Dapat ditemukan di hutan primer, hutan sekunder, hutan hujan dataran rendah sampai ketinggian 1.300 mdpl. Biasanya berjalan dengan lincah di atas liana dan dahan pohon kecil. Diketahui bersarang di atau dekat tanah dan menggunakan tunggul, tanaman merambat serta lubang di pohon untuk membuat sarang.
Sebaran : Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia. Di Indonesia ada di Kalimantan dan Pulau Banggai serta Pulau Karimata, Pulau Bangka, Pulau Belitung, Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia.

IUCN Red List Status
The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), or in Indonesian, Serikat Internasional Untuk Pelestarian Alam, makes decisions to determine the conservation status of a species or plant. The current categories of the IUCN Red List criteria include extinct (EX), extinct in the wild (EW), critically endangered (CR), endangered (EN), vulnerable (VU), near threatened (NT), least concern (LC), data deficient (DD), and not evaluated (NE).
The CITES List Status
CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) , aims to restrict countries from trading protected flora and fauna or those with extremely limited numbers. The CITES status consists of appendices (attachments) numbered I-III. Appendix I is a list of flora and fauna that absolutely cannot be traded because they are critically endangered. Appendix II is a list of flora and fauna that can be traded, but their numbers are limited. Meanwhile, Appendix III is a list of flora and fauna that can be traded because they are abundant in one country but limited in another.
