Nama : Ikan Sepat Bintik/Three-spot Gourami
Deskripsi : Spesies ini memiliki panjang total sekitar 12 cm. Badan berwarna putih per- ak, kehijauan sampai kebiruan, dengan beberapa pita warna miring berwarna gelap. Terdapat 2 bulatan hitam pada badannya, satu ditengah badan di bawah sirip punggung dan satu lagi di pangkal sirip ekor. Mulutnya kecil. Sirip punggung memilik VI-VIII jari-jari keras dan 8-9 jari-jari lunak. Sirip dubur memiliki X-XII jari-jari keras dan 33-38 jari-jari lunak. Jari pertama pada sirip perut sangat panjang, menjangkau bagian sirip ekor.
Habitat : Merupakan jenis introduksi untuk beberapa daerah lainnya di Indonesia. Biasanya spesies ini mendiami habitat perairan lahan basah dataran rendah, terutama di rawa-rawa. Memijah pada saat musim hujan, di rawa-rawa atau di perairan tergenang lainnya. Membangun sarang berbusa di permukaan, ditepi-tepi tumbuhan air. Jantan memelihara telur dan anak-anaknya, sampai anakan bisa berenang dengan baik. Makanannya berupa alga, tumbuhan, invertebrata kecil, zooplankton dan detritus.
Sebaran : Tersebar luas mulai dari perairan Cina bagian selatan, Asia Tenggara dan Indonesia bagian barat

IUCN Red List Status
The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), or in Indonesian, Serikat Internasional Untuk Pelestarian Alam, makes decisions to determine the conservation status of a species or plant. The current categories of the IUCN Red List criteria include extinct (EX), extinct in the wild (EW), critically endangered (CR), endangered (EN), vulnerable (VU), near threatened (NT), least concern (LC), data deficient (DD), and not evaluated (NE).
The CITES List Status
CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) , aims to restrict countries from trading protected flora and fauna or those with extremely limited numbers. The CITES status consists of appendices (attachments) numbered I-III. Appendix I is a list of flora and fauna that absolutely cannot be traded because they are critically endangered. Appendix II is a list of flora and fauna that can be traded, but their numbers are limited. Meanwhile, Appendix III is a list of flora and fauna that can be traded because they are abundant in one country but limited in another.
