Nama
: Kahoi (Kutai).
Deskripsi : Pohon, besar, berbanir-kecuali pada pohon muda, tinggi 30 m, diameter batang berkisar 20−75 cm. Batang beresin (berdamar), kuning-keputihan; kulit batang merah tua-kehitaman. Daun penumpu ada. Daun tunggal, berseling, pertulangan menyirip, gundul; daun melonjong-jorong sampai melanset, menjangat, berwarna krim mencolok di bagian bawahnya; pangkal daun membaji-melebar sampai menumpul, melancip 1.5 cm, meramping, pertulangan daun 13−18 pasang, terlihat jelas di atas, urat daun tersier menangga, tersamarkan. Perbungaan malai, panjang 8 cm, terminal atau aksiler. Bunga biseksual, putih-kekuningan. Benang sari berjumlah 15, lebih pendek dari tangkai putik ketika mekar, bakal buah bulat telur. Buah geluk-bulat telur, tangkai buah pendek; 3-kelopak lebih panjang, bercuping, menyudip, menumpul, melebar di bagian atas,  membundar telur, menombong tebal di pangkal; 2 cuping lebih pendek, lurus. Biji bulat telur, 6 × 4 mm, merembang.
Ekologi : Sumatra dan Kalimantan. Di Kalimantan Timur: lahan basah Mesangat, lahan basah Suwi, lahan basah Sedulang, Kebun Raya Samarida. Tumbuh pada ekosistem hutan riparian, hutan rawa, habitat hutan rawa-gambut, dan tipe habitat hutan kerangas. Jenis ini juga dibudidayakan untuk keperluan rehabilitasi lahan.
Kegunaan : Kayu dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan bangunan. Tanaman rehabilitasi dan lanskap. Referensi: Muklis et al., 2018.

IUCN Red List Status
The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), or in Indonesian, Serikat Internasional Untuk Pelestarian Alam, makes decisions to determine the conservation status of a species or plant. The current categories of the IUCN Red List criteria include extinct (EX), extinct in the wild (EW), critically endangered (CR), endangered (EN), vulnerable (VU), near threatened (NT), least concern (LC), data deficient (DD), and not evaluated (NE).
The CITES List Status
CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) , aims to restrict countries from trading protected flora and fauna or those with extremely limited numbers. The CITES status consists of appendices (attachments) numbered I-III. Appendix I is a list of flora and fauna that absolutely cannot be traded because they are critically endangered. Appendix II is a list of flora and fauna that can be traded, but their numbers are limited. Meanwhile, Appendix III is a list of flora and fauna that can be traded because they are abundant in one country but limited in another.
