Nama
: Mentangur (Indonesia).
Deskripsi : Pohon, berukuran sedang sampai perdu, tinggi dapat mencapai 35 m dengan diameter batang dapat mencapai 50 cm. Batang coklat keabu-abuan, bergetah putih sampai kekuningan ketika dilukai. Daun tunggal, tersusun berhadapan, menjangat; tangkai daun ca. 2−3 cm; jorong-melonjong, atau membundar telur; pangkal daun membundar sampai menumpul; ujung daun meruncing sampai menumpul; tepi daun mengutuh, pertulangan daun sekunder menyirip, rapat, jelas,  sedikit menonjol pada permukaan bawah daun; permukaan atas daun gundul, licin, hijau terang; permukaan bawah hijau kebiruan atau krim kehijauan, pudar. Perbungaan berbatas, kadang soliter, tangkai perbungaan utama pendek, atau duduk, berwarna putih. Bunga biseksual, putih-kekuningan; mahkota putih, bebas, membundar; tangkai bunga puih; benang sari banyak, kepala sari kuning; putik 1, panjang. Buah pelok, bulat, kehijauan.
Ekologi : Persebaran alami dari wilayah Indonesia (Sumatra, Kalimantan), Kamboja, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, dan Vietnam. Pada umumnya tumbuh pada ekosistem dataran rendah seperti hutan primer dan hutan sekunder. Tumbuh pada hutan lahan kering seperti hutan kerangas dan habitat lembab seperti hutan riparian, hutan rawa dan hutan rawa gambut. Referensi: Kessler & Sidiyasa, 1994.

IUCN Red List Status
The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), or in Indonesian, Serikat Internasional Untuk Pelestarian Alam, makes decisions to determine the conservation status of a species or plant. The current categories of the IUCN Red List criteria include extinct (EX), extinct in the wild (EW), critically endangered (CR), endangered (EN), vulnerable (VU), near threatened (NT), least concern (LC), data deficient (DD), and not evaluated (NE).
The CITES List Status
CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) , aims to restrict countries from trading protected flora and fauna or those with extremely limited numbers. The CITES status consists of appendices (attachments) numbered I-III. Appendix I is a list of flora and fauna that absolutely cannot be traded because they are critically endangered. Appendix II is a list of flora and fauna that can be traded, but their numbers are limited. Meanwhile, Appendix III is a list of flora and fauna that can be traded because they are abundant in one country but limited in another.
